We possess a strong reputation in all areas of leasing, including retail shops, supermarkets, bulky goods premises, service stations, long term government leases, office leases, the negotiation and finalisation of Agreements for Lease and Leases for landlords, and in negotiating with core retail tenants, such as multi-national supermarket chains, various other multi-national and national chain stores and franchises and fast food outlets. We have also provided advice on the development of service station sites with petroleum companies, in the preparation of substantial refurbishment of shopping centres and other buildings, and in relation to contaminated sites.

Our Property and Commercial Law Team also has a strong reputation in relation to commercial and property dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration and mediation in respect of commercial and retail property; building and construction; contractual and consumer disputes), and we have acted as counsel (or as instructing solicitor) in numerous contested civil proceedings in a variety of jurisdictions from State Administrative Tribunal to the High Court of Australia, negotiating settlements of most disputes without the need for trial.
